Fabricados pela Pirelli, os cinco compostos de pneus P Zero estão nos testes de pré-temporada da Fórmula 1. De acordo com a fabricante, os pneus, usados para pista seca, serão vistos durante os testes nesse ano, mas apenas em três cores. Para ajudar a distingui-los, os pneus mais duros e mais macios disponíveis não terão listras nas paredes laterais.
Mario Isola, gerente mundial de Motorsport da Pirelli: “Normalmente só vemos três cores em cada corrida, então estamos usando apenas três cores nos testes também, mas queremos ter certeza de que as pessoas possam diferenciar os compostos. Como resultado, os pneus mais duros e mais macios não serão marcados com listras: somente as cores irão variar. Este será também o caso dos testes durante a temporada”.
