O Setcesp – Sindicato das Empresas de Transporte de Cargas de São Paulo e Região – acaba de anunciar que o percentual da mistura de biodiesel ao diesel fóssil vai aumentar para 8% em 12 meses.
A lei foi sancionada e está publicada no Diário Oficial da União da última quinta-feira (24) e prevê que o combustível comercializado nos postos hoje, com 7% de biodiesel, o chamado B7, tem um ano para aumentar para 8%. No segundo ano, será de 9% e, no terceiro, de 10%.
Segundo o sindicato, o texto permite, ainda, que o CNPE (Conselho Nacional de Política Energética) eleve a mistura obrigatória podendo alcançar o percentual de 15%, após a realização de testes e ensaios em motores que validem a utilização da mistura.
O aumento do uso do biodiesel integra as metas brasileiras para ampliar a participação de fontes renováveis na matriz energética, apresentadas na COP 21 (Conferência do Clima), realizada em Paris, no ano passado.
O combustível renovável reduz a emissão dos principais causadores da poluição atmosférica: CO (monóxido de carbono), HC (hidrocarbonetos), MP (material particulado), SOx (óxidos de enxofre) e CO2 (dióxido de carbono).
