No mês de agosto a Marcopolo completou 65 anos de atividades no Brasil, e para celebrar este feito lançou um selo comemorativo, que será usado em todas as correspondências emitidas pela empresa até o final do ano.
Desenvolvido pelos Correios, o selo tem a logomarca da Marcopolo e o sol estilizado, formando um símbolo que transmite a mensagem de que o “Sol” da Marcopolo ilumina caminhos e estreita distâncias.
Fundada no dia 6 de agosto de 1949, hoje a Marcopolo está presente no mundo todo, com a fabricação de ônibus completos, carrocerias e componentes, modelos rodoviários, urbanos, micros e minis, além dos veículos Volare, comercializados no mercado de maneira integral, com chassi e carroceria.
