Apresentado pela primeira vez na Fenatran 2022, a Iveco acaba de lançar o Daily Hi-Matic 35-180, que tem como principal novidade o câmbio automático. O modelo tem no seu conjunto de força o motor FPT F1C VGT capaz de entregar 180 cv de potência e 430 Nm de torque na faixa de 1.600 a 2.900 rpm. Esse motor já é adequado para atender às emissões Proconve 8, equivalente a Euro VI, em vigor no país.
Acoplado ao motor está a caixa automática ZF- 8HP, de 8 velocidades à frente e uma à ré, com a capacidade de proporcionar trocas de marchas suaves e rápidas, a cada 2 milésimos de segundos. Por conta da sua robustez, a transmissão atende a aplicações desde 3,5 até 7 toneladas, com três diferentes modos de condução: Função Eco Mode, Kick Down, Creep Mode.
