Abril está sendo um mês importante para a Ford, que comemora a produção no Brasil de 80.000 motores de três cilindros na fábrica de Camaçari/BA. O motor é o 1.0 TiVCT Flex de 12V, que quipa a nova linha Ka e Ka+, um projeto global, cheio de tecnologia e modernidade.
A unidade que produz o motor completa um ano e está instada no Complexo Industrial Ford Nordeste, sendo equipada com o estado da arte da tecnologia de manufatura, operando com os níveis mais altos de qualidade e eficiência.
Outro destaque desta unidade foi a conquista do “President´s Health and Safety Awards”, prêmio de saúde e segurança da Ford que avalia o desempenho das instalações da Ford em todo mundo.
