A unidade fabril da BMW em Araguari (SC) comemora dois anos de plena operação, com a produção de 24 mil veículos das marcas BMW e MINI, destinados tanto ao mercado nacional quanto à exportação.
Moderno, tecnológico e sustentável, o complexo foi erguido num espaço de 1,5 milhão de metros quadrados – dos quais 500 mil m² de área pavimentada – a infraestrutura local contempla atividades de montagem, carroceria e soldagem, sistemas de pintura e logística, além de prédios administrativos e auxiliares.
Fábrica da BMW comemora 2 anos de operação
No local são fabricados seis modelos diferentes: os BMW Série 1, Série 3, X1, X3, MINI Countryman e, mais recentemente, o X4, cuja produção foi iniciada há um mês. Conta com 700 colaboradores, além de 300 temporários dedicados exclusivamente ao projeto de exportação.
