A BMG Group comemora a importante marca de 10 mil veículos produzidos na fábrica brasileira em Araquari (SC). As operações começaram em 30 de setembro de 2014, e a empresa vem ampliando a gama de modelos manufaturados no País, que conta hoje com BMW Série 3, BMW X1, BMW Série 1 e BMW X3. Até o fim do ano, o MINI Countryman entrará na linha de montagem nacional.
O investimento da fábrica teve aporte de mais de 200 milhões de euros (mais de R$ 650 milhões), o que aprontou a unidade para produzir até 32 mil carros por ano. Antes mesmo de completar seu primeiro ano, a operação já responde pela admissão de cerca de 600 colaboradores, além do fomento de toda uma cadeia de fornecimento em Santa Catarina que inclui fornecedores e parceiros de negócios.
