O modelo BMW X4, considerado um SAC (Sport Activity Coupé), passa a ser produzido na fábrica do BMW Group em Araquari/SC. A versão nacional é a xDrive28i X Line e vem equipada com motor TwinPower Turbo, 2.0 de 245 cv.
A produção do X4 faz parte do plano de investimentos de 256 milhões de euros feito pelo BMW Group para o período de 2013 e 2017 e reforça o comprometimento da empresa de se firmar como investidora no País.

A chegada do X4 mostra a ampliação do portfólio nacional da BMW, que aposta no crescimento do segmento premium do mercado automotivo brasileiro a médio prazo. Com preço de R$ 299.950,00, a expectativa é sejam vendidas 45 unidades/mês até o fim deste ano.
