No momento, o complexo está recebendo investimentos de R$ 750 milhões para produzir o novo crossover global da marca, o Nissan Kicks. Atualmente, a Nissan do Brasil conta com cerca de 1.800 funcionários e a unidade de Resende tem um ciclo de produção completo, que inclui da área de estamparia até as pistas de testes, incluindo chaparia, pintura, injeção de plásticos, montagem e inspeção de qualidade.
