Depois de 40 meses do seu lançamento, ou seja, três anos e três meses de comercialização, o Chevrolet Onix bate recorde com 500 mil unidades produzidas na fábrica da marca em Gravataí/RS.
O modelo que representou o marco foi um Onix LTZ, que contou com cerimônia comemorativa com a participação de funcionários da linha de montagem. O número de 500 mil produzidos foi alcançado em tempo recorde, superando o Corsa (hatch) como o modelo Chevrolet que mais rápido atingiu a marca de 500 mil unidades produzidas no país.
O Chevrolet Onix possui atualmente nove combinações diferentes de acabamento (LS, LT, LTZ ou Effect), motorizações (1.0 ou 1.4) e tem como principal destaque a central multimídia MyLink e a opção de transmissão automática de seis marchas.
