Depois de conseguir autorizações francesas, o Grupo PSA coloca veículo autônomo para test-drive de condutores “não especialistas”. Segundo o grupo, os testes começam a partir de março de 2017.
A nova etapa representa um avanço significativo para o desenvolvimento da tecnologia dos veículos autônomos do Grupo PSA. Os protótipos com condutores “não especialistas” poderão viajar por cerca de 2 mil quilômetros em estradas francesas.
Desde julho de 2015, os protótipos do Grupo PSA conduzidos por pilotos especialistas já percorreram 120 mil quilômetros em estradas expressas europeias.
A partir de 2020, alguns veículos do Grupo se beneficiarão de funções de condução autônomas que permitirão ao condutor delegar o controle total do automóvel.
